Build real‑world skills in a unique agricultural export facility and gain experience in quality control, operations, and logistics while working as part of a supportive team during the busiest time of the year, the Summer Harvest. It’s a great opportunity to get active, learn something new, and make your summer count.

What you will be doing:

  • Sampling incoming lorry loads of grain and carrying out quality checks before they are accepted into the site.
  • Monitoring the intake process and liaising with drivers to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Recording quality results and maintaining accurate data for internal quality control.
  • Flagging and escalating any issues where loads do not meet required standards.
  • Supporting the team with ship loading operations, including learning to operate the loading spout (working at height involved).
  • Learning to use the control system that manages grain movement within the silos.
  • Gaining an understanding of grain storage conditions and how we maintain quality standards.
  • Getting involved in a wide range of practical, hands‑on tasks to help keep the site running efficiently.

About you:

  • Enthusiastic, practical and hands‑on.
  • Willing to learn and get involved in all aspects of site operations.
  • Strong team player with good communication skills.
  • Reliable and adaptable during busy peak periods.
  • Physical readiness for manual handling and work at height (full training provided).

Flexible working hours will be required during peak harvest, including occasional evenings and weekends depending on shipping schedules.
