Events Assistant

Scale 3 + 2 increments for weekend working (£15,841 – £16,094 pro rata) 22.2 hours, Part-Time Temporary (1 year) Based at a variety of venues including Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall, Chadkirk Chapel.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to join us to support the delivery of our ambitious events programme. You will be working as part of the Stockport Events Team at a variety of impressive Venues including Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall and Chadkirk Chapel, and will be the first point of contact for our growing team, providing phone coverage and responding to enquiries. You will provide support to the Hospitality supervisors and event coordinators and assist with the operational delivery of events for up to 500 people.

This position includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays and includes late finishes after the hours of midnight. Applicants must be over the age of 18.

About You

We are looking for self‑motivated, results‑driven individuals who excel in customer service. You will be friendly but professional; experience within the hospitality industry is preferred.
