Data Centre Technician – Docklands, England

CoreWeave is an AI cloud infrastructure company providing essential compute platforms for artificial intelligence. The Data Centre Technician role is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating cutting-edge physical infrastructure in data centres, ensuring availability, reliability, and service levels through hands-on hardware and network operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform hardware and network diagnostics and physical repairs to maintain data centre operations and service availability
• Respond to on-site equipment failures within 60 minutes while on-call and conduct root cause analysis of infrastructure failures
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and assemble computer hardware components and networking equipment
• Develop documentation and scripts to support server and networking hardware updates and operations
• Travel up to 10% of the time to other data centre locations as required for operational support

What You Need

• Computer hardware experience including troubleshooting and assembly
• Linux operating system experience
• Ability to transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 environment with rotating on-call shifts
• Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills with ability to prioritise tasks and respond quickly to issues

Nice to Have

• Experience with computer networking
• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent IT-related field experience
