Trainee Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

Trainee Teaching Assistant – Newcastle upon Tyne

Location: Newcastle upon TynePay: £462.80 – £475 per week

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in classroom teaching and instructional delivery.
• Run small‑group interventions to aid children’s learning.
• Work on a 1:1 basis to ensure the needs of all children are met and that they can thrive.
• Assist with the day‑to‑day running of the school and build positive relationships with staff, children and families.
• Complete a comprehensive training programme delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders.

• Kind, caring and compassionate attitude.
• Proactive and effective communicator.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to complete required training and engage in ongoing CPD.
• Readiness to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
