Job Title: Humanities TeacherLocation: MaidstoneStart Date: SeptemberSalary: £160 – £232 per day
Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher with experience teaching students across KS3 and KS4? Do you have strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love of learning in Humanities? The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Humanities Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful Humanities Teacher will teach Humanities across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high standards of classroom practice and supporting students to achieve their full potential while contributing positively to the wider school community.
Responsibilities
- Teach Humanities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Deliver engaging lessons and maintain high standards of classroom practice.
- Support students to achieve their full potential and contribute to the wider school community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school improvement and student wellbeing.
Qualifications
- QTS with a Humanities specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply).
- Experience teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A passion for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
