HGV 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver – Part Time – Newbury.

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Newbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a couple of shifts per week with an immediate start available.

Further Information About The Role:

• Shifts available between Monday-Friday
• Offering between 8-16 hours per week
• Typical working hours: 08:00 – 18:00
• Delivering stones, gravel, turf, and garden furniture
• Deliveries to both residential and commercial customers
• 10-12 drops per day
• Vehicle will be pre‑loaded, however you will be required to unload using pump trucks and tail lifts
• This is a hands‑on HGV 2 role requiring good time management and customer interaction

Pay & Benefits:

• £17.00 per hour (standard rate)
• Overtime available:
  • Saturdays: £25.50 per hour
  • Sundays: £34.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• After 12 weeks (permanent contract):
  • Salary increases to £33,164.04 per year
  • £50 weekly attendance bonus

Requirements:

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1+ year HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Flexibility
