Classroom Support Assistant
Location: Rotherham
Pay: £469.15 – £524.90 per week – salary depends on experience, training or qualifications.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Full time, Temporary to Permanent)
Start Date: Tuesday 1st September 2026 (Flexible start date available)
The Role
Support pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours to maximise their education. Assist and encourage young adults to participate in all school activities, including physical activity, lessons and crafts. The role is rewarding for those who want to make a positive impact on a young person’s life.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with challenging behaviours (highly desirable).
- Enhanced DBS registration on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Desire to work with young people with special educational needs.
- Driving licence and car or accessible public transport links.
- Availability Monday to Friday.
