Devonshire FWC | Creche | Ad hoc | Part time£12.84 per hour
We are looking for a Creche Assistant to create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where children can explore their potential. You will consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education, keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation. We offer opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.
Working Hours
Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. You will need to be available to work shifts between the hours of 09:00‑13:00.
Responsibilities
- Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, tidy, and stimulating Crèche environment.
- Consider children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
- Provide equipment for play and education.
- Ensure Crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
- Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in a Crèche environment.
- Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC. Ideally, EYPS and Paediatric First Aid.
- Passion for creating great experiences for children and their families.
