Job Responsibilities

  • Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps on time and in a great condition.
  • Complete checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving safely in a variety of locations and conditions.
  • Serve customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and substitutions, and keeping them aware of any delays.
  • Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations.
  • When not on deliveries, assist across the store as needed.

Sainsbury’s has created a safer driving environment by installing in‑cab AI cameras that monitor driver behaviour and help ensure compliance with road laws and defensive‑driving standards to protect drivers and other road users.
