What You’ll Be Doing

As a Buying Assistant, you will support the Buying and Business Support teams, ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and delivered on time.

  • Maintaining product, pricing, supplier, and promotional information within internal systems.
  • Supporting supplier administration, including price changes, forecasts, and supply updates.
  • Assisting with newsletters, promotions, trading documents, and member communications.
  • Monitoring product performance and maintaining reporting schedules.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and business members.
  • Supporting tender processes, contracts, compliance documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and key business events.
  • Providing essential administrative support across a variety of commercial projects.

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • At least 2 years of commercial administration experience.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience within buying, procurement, wholesale, retail, or commercial support environments is advantageous but not essential.
