Class 2 Driver

About the Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Class 2 HGV Driver based from London East, from where you will deliver and collect our hire machines to/from customer sites in and around the local area.

You will be responsible for delivering and collecting hire machines to and from customer sites in and around the local area.

Salaries and Benefits

The salary for this role is £40,257.36 plus overtime, bonus, contributory pension and other benefits as listed below.

• 25 days holiday, plus statutory holidays.

Requirements

• Must hold a Class 2 licence.
• Experience with multi-drop delivery/collections.
• Must hold your driver CPC.
• Outgoing and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly approach are a must (customer‑facing role).
• Time‑keeping and initiative proficiency are important aspects of this role.
• CSCS card would be beneficial but not essential.
• Experience in loading/unloading plant would be favourable but not essential as full training will be given.
• Excellent training induction programme will be provided, including approved IPAF Operator and load/unload training.
