Role: Home Care Assistant
Location: Poole
Pay rate: £13.70 per hour plus a £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate
Travel: Paid Travel Time: £12.71 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance
Hours: Full & Part Time
Shift: 07:00 to 14:00 & 16:00 to 22:00
Care South, a leading not for profit charity, have exciting opportunities for Home Care Assistants to join our Bournemouth Care at Home team, supporting clients with a variety of needs in their own homes.
This Home Care Assistant role is community based. It is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, we ensure you are paid not just your contact time, but also for your travel time. On top of this we pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

About you
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible in the hours you can work and ability to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
