Role Overview
- Deliver & Engage: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential KS5 opportunities).
- Progress: Monitor student progress, marking work and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of behavior and foster a positive, productive learning environment.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a dedicated Maths department to contribute to the school’s curriculum goals.
Requirements
- Qualifications: A degree in Mathematics (or a related field) and/or UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT).
- Experience: Previous experience teaching the UK Mathematics curriculum at the secondary school level.
- Skills: Excellent classroom management, communication skills, and the ability to make complex mathematical concepts accessible.
- Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
- Location: Based in or easily able to commute to Ellesmere Port.
