Job Description
HGV 1 Class 1 Driver Wanted – Doncaster, South Yorkshire – Temp to Perm.
Our client is one of the largest suppliers of protein ingredients to the European pet food and aquaculture sectors. Using category 3 ABP materials from the meat and poultry sectors who are now looking to add additional HGV Class 1 Drivers to their team. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the collection of meat products from customers throughout the UK before taking them to the production facility in either Nottingham or Doncaster. Drivers will not have to handle any part of the product as self-tipping trailers will be sued or you will have to carry out a trailer swap.
All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.
Duration: This is a full time temp to perm role
Contract Type: Permanent
Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £17.00 per hour on days and £18.50 per hour on nights. Saturdays are paid at £25.50 per hour with Sundays and Bank Holidays paid at £37.00.
Working Hours: Various start times and shift patterns available as this is a 24/7 operation

Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have the following,
- HGV Class 1 Licence
- Digital tacho card
- A full UK CPC
- No more than 6 points on your licence
New passes welcome however previous exposure to the transport inductry is prefered
