Salary and Hours

Salary: £14.55 per hour plus Veolia benefits – paid weekly. Single person allowance: Earn an extra £11.00 daily on RCV routes completing over 100 bins.

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, starting at 06:30. Finishing times may vary; some flexibility is required. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday overtime on a rota basis (minimum one per month).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers
  • Lifting bins of all weights and sizes
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per the driver–operator handbook
  • Ensuring all information is entered into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation, including security and weight limits of loads
  • Ensuring the carriageway is left clean and any spillages are cleaned up

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • Up‑to‑date CPC
  • Digi / tachograph card
  • Excellent time‑management skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with RCV, RORO and skip services
  • Prior experience working in the waste industry
