LGV Driver Days

Location: Colchester

Pay: £19.96 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and fuel/performance bonus.

Working pattern: 12‑hour day shifts over a rotating 3‑week schedule, including early starts (4‑5am). Permanent, full‑time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport waste products between operational sites following health & safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Operational Logistics and site managers.
• Deliver sewage‑related by‑products to treatment works, farms, energy centres and sewer network.
• Work at height, maintain occupational health checks and use three‑point contact on ladders.
• Undergo drug and alcohol testing as required.
• Carry out manual tasks such as lifting and sorting waste materials.
• Promote sustainable practices and maintain a professional customer interaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid LGV licence with Class 1 (C & E) endorsement.
• Fully completed CPC.
• Solid driving record and ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
• Hands‑on attitude, reliability, teamwork, flexibility and adaptability.
• Environmentally conscious and customer‑focused communication skills.
