Working Pattern
- 30 hours per week
- 3 working days out of 7
- Week 1 – Sat, Sun, and Mon
- Week 2 – Fri, Tue and Wed
- 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

The Role
- Prepare and cook all food to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure the service counter is prepped and ready for service.
- Provide the highest level of customer service consistently.
- Work as part of the team to ensure the service is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
- Complete any administration recording of food temperatures and HACCP documentation.
- Report defective equipment, utensils, or work and floor surfaces to the line manager.
- In the absence of the unit manager, complete bookkeeping procedures in line with company requirements.
- Ensure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure all food is labelled correctly.
- Carry out cleaning duties as required by the unit manager.
The Person
- Previous culinary experience.
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen.
- Demonstrable knowledge of HACCP.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work successfully as part of a team or individually.
- Previous experience working in a contract catering environment.
- NVQ level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or above.
- Basic statutory training: reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
