Summary: This position is to work within our EYFS class working alongside the class teacher to support quality learning provision and to meet the specific needs of individual children.

Responsibilities

  • Be committed to upholding our school values, nurturing ethos and strong behaviour policy.
  • Have a passion for supporting learning and development of children.
  • Experience of supporting a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis (desirable).
  • Have experience of working within an EYFS environment.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with the children, class teacher and families.
  • Enhance the learning opportunities for the children.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to ensure continuity of learning and quality first teaching.
  • Be committed to whole school life and be willing to support extra‑curricular activities and school events.

This position is part time, term time only. The salary quoted is full time equivalent and will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.

Required hours: 28 hours 45 minutes per week (8:45am‑3:30pm).

Qualifications

  • Teaching Assistant Level 3.
  • English and maths GCSE or equivalent qualifications.

Essential Experience

  • Working as a TA.

Desirable Experience

  • EYFS experience.

Desirable Qualifications

  • First Aid.
