Primary Higher level Teaching Assistant

Primary School HLTA – Newham, London

We are a 2 Form Entry Primary School located in Newham, London looking for a motivated and experienced HLTA/Cover Supervisor to join us on a full‑time permanent contract starting September 2025.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (Year 6)
• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and support lesson planning where required
• Provide interventions and booster group sessions to raise attainment
• Work with small groups and individuals to support learning and behaviour
• Support behavior management schemes in line with school policy

Qualifications

• Experience covering classes from Nursery to Year 6 in a primary school setting
• Experience delivering pre‑planned lessons and working with small groups and individuals
• Understanding of behavior management and school procedures
