I am currently looking for a teaching assistant to start working at a primary school in Swindon in September.
The school is a two-form entry school on a large site with lots of outdoor space. It is accessible by public transport and has a car park on site.
Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher with classroom activities such as reading one-to‑one or in small groups.
- Help with behaviour challenges and keep children on task.
- Work one-to‑one with SEND children in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children, ideally with experience of SEND or in a school environment.
- Kind, caring and willing to learn.
- Current DBS (updated) is required.
This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
