Reception Class Teacher (Part Time – Job Share)

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Reception Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Yardley (B25). This is a job share opportunity, offering a great work-life balance within a supportive school environment.

About the role

• Monday to Wednesday – Part time (term time only)
• Based in Yardley (B25)
• Job share role within Reception
• Full classroom responsibilities including planning, preparation, and assessment (shared)
• Working collaboratively with Early Years staff and wider school team

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a committed, experienced, and enthusiastic Early Years teacher with a passion for supporting young learners.

• Have recent experience teaching within Early Years / Reception (within the last 2 years, with references)
• Be confident delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Have a nurturing, patient, and engaging teaching approach
• Be able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Work effectively as part of a team, particularly within a job share role
• Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Ideally be local to the area or able to travel to B25

Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs – applicants must have prior teaching experience.
