Experienced Geography Teacher/ECT Geography Teacher – Permanent Contract – Starting September 2026 in a ‘Good’ graded secondary school in the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The role is on the MPS/UPS3 Inner London Pay Scale with possible TLR for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and conduct Geography lessons for key stages.
• Set suitable learning objectives that are relevant to the curriculum and generate a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
• Support the induction programme for newly qualified teachers.
• Engage well-behaved students using varied teaching methods and coordinate extracurricular activities to provide additional support when needed.

Qualifications

• Experienced Geography Teacher or Early Careers Teacher (ECT) of Geography.
• Currently completing a PGCE/SCITT course, if applying as an ECT, or possessing substantial experience if applying as a fully qualified teacher.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality lessons, evident from the school’s consecutive ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings for five years.
• Commitment to the school’s high‑achieving, well‑resourced Humanities Department.

Contract Details

Permanent, full‑time contract commencing September 2026 with the MPS/UPS3 Inner London Pay Scale. The position includes a highly supportive induction programme for newly qualified teachers.
