About the School

Hampton Court House is an award-winning independent co‑educational day school for ages 2–18, educating children and young people from pre‑nursery to Year 13. Our majority of 300+ pupils elect to stay on to complete their full education with us, enjoying high levels of academic success.

Position

We seek an excellent, highly qualified teacher of geography to join this successful and dynamic department from September 2026. This is a part‑time role.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching geography in Years 7–13. The role will report to the Head of Faculty – Humanities.

  • Run at least one co‑curricular club throughout the school year.
  • Participate in a range of enriching, geography‑focused trips and visits throughout the school year.
  • Help run geography interventions and clinics as needed.
  • Attend parents’ evenings.
  • Other reasonable duties as directed by the Leadership Team.

Compensation

Hampton Court House offers its own competitive salary scheme. Applications are welcomed from colleagues in both the independent and state‑maintained sectors. This role would suit an ECT or a more experienced candidate.
