The Role
As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across Science, Maths and Computing
- Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery, preparation and classroom resources
- Help raise attainment and improve engagement in STEM subjects
- Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Encourage curiosity, problem-solving and independent learning
Who We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A 2:1 degree or above in a STEM subject (Science, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred)
- Strong GCSEs and A Level results (or equivalent academic background)
- A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, positive and resilient approach to working in a school environment
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
