CAD Technician (Fabrication/Pipes)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Training + Progression + Benefits

Location: Oxford

We are looking for a CAD Technician/Designer with a mechanical background to join our expanding team, offering on‑the‑job training, skills development, and a clear pathway to a Design Manager role.

Role

• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical production teams on drawings.
• Create 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing designs using AutoCAD.
• Prepare bills of materials for fabrication and manufacture.
• Coordinate closely with the shopfloor team.
• Work office‑based, 8:00 – 4:30 Monday to Friday in the Oxford office.

Qualifications

• Background in fabrication, sheet metal, or pipe work.
• Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD preferred).
• Able to commute to Oxford.
