TimePlan are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant! As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Assist students with their Personal Care Plan.
- Support the personal, emotional, and social development of students.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant with children with additional needs.
- Willingness and ability to assist students in their Personal Care Plans.
- Understanding of SEN as defined in the SEN Code of Practice.
- Passionate, caring nature, and ability to build strong relationships with students.
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar) is advantageous but not essential.
