£130 – £180 per day depending on experience and qualifications
A welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Oldham is seeking a KS2 Teacher from September 2026. The school is less than 30 minutes from Huddersfield via the M62, making it an attractive alternative to West Yorkshire schools. It is also accessible from Saddleworth, Marsden, Slaithwaite and Rochdale.
Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to continue your induction, or an experienced teacher seeking a supportive long‑term role, you’ll be joining a friendly school with a collaborative team and strong leadership.
Role
- Teaching a Key Stage 2 class from September 2026 until April 2027
- Planning and delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress
- Working closely with teaching assistants and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider life of the school

Ideal Candidate
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach
