We are looking for a skilled and confident Teaching Assistant who shares the ethos of our school and is committed to supporting our brilliant children and the community we serve.
Previous experience of working in a school, knowledge of SEND and experience of supporting the delivery of phonics would be an advantage.
Responsibilities

- Support the class teacher in preparation for teaching.
- Support children’s physical, social and emotional welfare.
- Be creative and innovative.

- Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
- Be motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and make a genuine difference.
- Use initiative to assess and evaluate pupils’ needs.
- Lead intervention groups.
We will use our purpose as a driver for our culture, ensuring we are connected, helpful, organised, informed, candid, effective and simple. The role is advertised from 8.30 am to 12.00 midday, 5 days per week.
Requirements
Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
