Valet Technician

The Valet Technician position in Whaley Bridge is a permanent, full-time role with a salary up to £12.71 per hour plus bonus. You will be responsible for the internal and external valeting of vehicles to showroom standards, including cleaning, polishing and detailing prior to customer handover, performing basic vehicle checks on fluid levels and tyre pressures, safely moving and parking vehicles across the site, and maintaining a tidy workspace. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a professional approach to vehicle presentation, supporting the wider team to ensure every vehicle meets high standards before delivery.

Responsibilities

• Fully internal and external valeting of vehicles to showroom standards
• Cleaning, polishing and detailing vehicles before customer handover
• Performing basic vehicle checks (fluid levels, tyre pressures, cleanliness)
• Safely moving and parking vehicles around the site
• Ensuring vehicles are presented professionally at all times
• Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace
• Supporting the wider team with ad‑hoc duties
• Following health and safety procedures diligently

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle valeting
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• A full UK Driving Licence (essential)
