About the role
St. Andrew’s School is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026. This is a permanent, term‑time only position working 35 hours per week with an actual salary of £22,984.54 (working term time only).
Key responsibilities
- Work as a Teaching Assistant in a KS1/KS2 classroom, supporting teaching and learning.
- Deliver weekly small‑group English and Maths intervention sessions.
- Deliver whole‑class teaching in a non‑core subject.
- Provide cover for teacher absence.
Qualifications and experience
- Qualified with HLTA Level 4 certification.
