Location: Gloucester with regular local travelling

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 + Overtime

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week + Overtime

Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver on behalf of one of our fantastic clients who require someone to be located near Gloucester to cover the local area.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To operate the tanker confidently, empty the required systems and tip at the relevant sites.
• Comply to Tachograph and Drivers hours rules.
• Complete daily walk around checks and relevant paperwork.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and all company policies and procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Category C HGV licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous tanker driving experience.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of the wastewater industry.
• Be able to follow instruction as well as take initiative when required.
• Ability to work flexible hours
