Job Overview

Contek Recruitment Solutions is working on behalf of a leading horticultural company that specializes in the manufacture of garden houses, summerhouses, log cabins, and modular buildings. The company operates multiple sites in West Yorkshire and provides nationwide delivery.

Pay and Working Hours

• Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour.
• Overtime: £18.12 per hour after 40 hours.
• Typical shift: 50 hours per week with start times from 2:00 AM onwards.
• Overnight allowance: £35.

Main Responsibilities

• Delivering flatbed log cabins and garden sheds.
• Direct deliveries of shed panels to customers.
• Transporting timber and materials between company sites.
• Safe and responsible operation of HGV vehicles.
• Securing loads with straps and ratchets.
• Meeting delivery schedules and reporting delays.
• Assisting with loading and unloading.

Skills, Experience & Education

• Professional and reliable customer interaction.
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Experience operating flatbed trucks and making nationwide deliveries.
• Adherence to safety and compliance standards.
