Are you looking to start a career in education but don’t have formal qualifications? Do you have experience working with children or young people in a hands‑on or supportive role?
We are recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to work in supportive and welcoming primary school settings across South Bristol.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Help build confidence, engagement and positive behaviour
- Support children with a range of needs, including additional learning needs
- Create a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment
No formal qualifications are required – we value experience and attitude above all else.
You may have experience such as:
- Sports coaching
- Swim teaching
- Youth work
- Activity coordination
- Holiday clubs or camps
- Children’s care or support work
We’re looking for someone who is
- Confident working with children or young people
- Patient, proactive and reliable
- Able to build strong relationships and manage behaviour positively
- Passionate about making a difference in education
