We are looking for a Specialist Rehab Class Instructor!
A little more about the role:
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Casual Fitness Class Instructor to provide cover for our specialist rehabilitation programmes. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and engaging cardiac rehabilitation circuit classes and pre and post cancer rehabilitation circuits for a diverse client group.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced class instructor looking for flexible work within a supportive and professional environment, making a real difference to people’s health and recovery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured cardiac and cancer rehabilitation circuit-based exercise classes
- Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive, and tailored to individual participant needs
- Monitor client progress and provide appropriate adaptations
- Follow clinical guidelines and organisational protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate records where required
- Provide cover for scheduled classes during staff sickness and annual leave
Essential Qualifications
Applicants must hold all of the following:
- Level 4 Certificate in Cardiac Rehabilitation (BACPR aligned)
- Level 4 Certificate in Pre and Post Cancer Rehabilitation
- Strong understanding of working with individuals with long-term health conditions
- Ability to adapt exercises safely for varying abilities and medical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work
- Experience in group circuit-based training formats
- Knowledge of behaviour change strategies
