Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burnley from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting children at the very start of their learning journey.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting
- Assisting with planned activities and learning through play
- Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive environment
- Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
- Supporting children’s development in communication, social skills, and early learning goals
Qualifications
- Has experience working within EYFS or early years settings
- Holds a relevant qualification (Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant preferred)
- Is patient, nurturing, and proactive
- Has a strong understanding of EYFS framework
- Is committed to supporting children’s development and wellbeing
