About the Position
As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their educational journey.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering creative lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Establishing a positive and purposeful classroom culture
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development
- Using assessment effectively to inform teaching and learning
- Encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning
- Working closely with support staff and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Contributing to school events and the wider school community
Qualifications
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high standards
- Can deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Understands the importance of pupil wellbeing alongside academic achievement
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one
