Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in either our Coalville or Loughborough store for the role of Sale/Store/Shop Assistant. The responsibilities include assisting customers, preparing quotes, scheduling fittings, providing excellent customer service, managing and processing sales, stock checking and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. You will also have the opportunity to support promotional and communication activities (e.g. social media) and help meet sales targets.
Please note, this role will require weekend working and some manual lifting in the warehouse.
Qualifications
No experience required as full training will be given to the right candidate. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual who will fit in our small team.
- Customer service skills, including interpersonal communication and addressing customer inquiries effectively
- Friendly, professional email, telephone and in‑person communication
- Experience with retail sales and point‑of‑sale systems is an advantage
- Organizational and time management skillls
- Great team work skills and the ability to work independantly
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as required
- GCSE equivalent English and Math and cash handling skills
