Job Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver. Our Regional Distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock.
Responsibilities
- Safe delivery of stock to our 198 cash and carry stores.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed after delivery.
- Maintaining vehicle in good condition at the start and finish of your shift.
- Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid C+E Licence (experience in driving a class 1 vehicle preferred but not essential).
- CPC qualified.
- No more than 6 points on your licence, no careless driving, no prosecutions for mobile phone use or drink driving, no failure to comply with ‘Construction of Use’.
Additional Information
Overtime opportunities also available. Fully funded CPC training hours provided.
All candidates will have to undertake a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre- employment tests.
Candidates must be over 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves working in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles.
