Qualificationsand training
- NVQ 1&2 in Cleaning andSupport Services or equivalent experience (desirable).
- BICS qualifications orequivalent in relevant discipline or experience (desirable).
Experience
- Generalexperience of premises management.
Skills, knowledge and ability
- Ability to use relevantequipment, materials and chemicals.
- Health and Safety, includinguse of chemicals COSHH, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, including drills, useof equipment, practices and procedures, Use of ladders, lifting, cleaningetc.
- Understanding of andcompliance with child protection procedures and lone working.
- Be able to work as both partof a team and as a lone worker.
- Be self-motivated.
- Generalknowledge of DIY and unskilled maintenance.
- Knowledgeof industrial cleaning and use of appropriate equipment, chemicals andmaterials.
- Abilityto communicate with a wide range of people.
- Knowledgeand understanding of the security and tenure of premise.
Special requirements
- Ability to attend site as anemergency call out.
