Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Driver to join the team in Danybryn. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that enables you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Danybryn has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. Essential Skills & Duties of a Driver
- Provide transportation for employees and service users.
- Deliver a high‑quality service.
- Welcome and be courteous to all who use the service.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and the vehicle.
- Collect and deliver employees at the agreed times and points. You may also be asked to collect items for residents.
- Keep the vehicle safe and roadworthy at all times and report any defects to the Manager immediately.
- Undertake daily vehicle safety and condition checks, including lights, tyre condition and pressure, oil and coolant levels, seat belts, washers and wipers.
- Drive safely, observing all traffic and speed regulations.
- Report any concerns about the vehicle, including wear and tear, to the Manager.
- Promptly report any accidents, adverse incidents or observations of injury, and report to the Manager any incidents or accidents relating to use of the vehicle.
- Implement Shaw policies and best practice guidelines to understand your role.
