Overview
This temporary position is to commence immediately. The position is on a fixed term basis, for one year subject to the operational needs of the school.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will work both individually, and as part of a team including Teachers and other support staff and/or one to one with a child to support the learning and welfare of all children at Moorlands.
- The role will involve leading and organising sporting events both internally and externally, training children for sports events, supporting with behaviour, as well as working in the classroom where needed.
- The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and for securing children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Energy, patience, enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning are also vital to this role.
Contract and Working Pattern
This will be a 25 hour contract, with a flexible working pattern to allow for attendance at sporting events which run outside usual school hours. We are looking for a highly organised individual who will make a significant contribution to sports events at Moorlands.
