Care South, a leading not-for-profit charity, offers exciting opportunities for Home Care Assistants to join our Poole Care at Home team, supporting clients with a variety of needs in their own homes. This role is community based; it is essential applicants hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle. As a Home Care Assistant with Care South, you are paid not only for your contact time but also for your travel time. We pay a generous mileage rate of 40p per mile.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Receive a comprehensive induction with ongoing training and development
- Support from a friendly, experienced team and colleagues
- Deliver person-centred care that truly makes a difference
- Provide high‑quality support to enable individuals to remain independent
- Support clients to build confidence and remain independent
- Help with personal care such as personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing
- Ensure the dignity of clients
- Be responsible for the needs of clients
About You
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible in the hours you can work and able to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the updated service or prepared to undertake one
