Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day bar operations and ensure efficient, high‑quality service.

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and bar support staff.

Create and update seasonal cocktail menus and beverage offerings.

Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and maintain stock control to minimize waste.

Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar area.

Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Build positive relationships with guests, handle feedback and resolve complaints professionally.

Work closely with restaurant management and kitchen team to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Control labour and beverage costs while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a busy restaurant, hotel, or premium hospitality venue.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage trends.
  • Experience with stock management, ordering, and cost control.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Personal Licence (preferred where applicable).
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
