Pay Rate: £130-£250 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK primary school

Overview

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG18 area to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed educator to join a thriving school and play a key role in preparing pupils for the next stage of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons that inspire and motivate learners
  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, implementing interventions where necessary to raise attainment
  • Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and independent learning skills
  • Prepare pupils for end‑of‑key‑stage assessments where applicable
  • Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
  • Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents’ evenings as required

Ideal Candidate

  • Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has a strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum and effective teaching practices
  • Is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full academic and personal potential
  • Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Is committed to raising standards, promoting pupil wellbeing, and preparing children for a successful transition to secondary education
