Job Description

We are looking for a warehouse operative to work in our warehouse operations and associated activities in our Loughton location.

Responsibilities

• In liaison with your supervisor, ensure the smooth operation of the Logistics Warehouse in specification to ISO9001 standards.
• Maintain an overview of departmental and company procedures and discharge any specific responsibilities contained within them.
• Responsible for picking, packing and despatching of consumables, spare parts and finished goods.
• Operate a company vehicle to transport products within the organization and to and from external locations.
• Receive and book goods in, including deliveries.
• Ensure the highest level of good housekeeping is maintained within your department at all times.
• Accurately input data onto SAP / MFG computer system.
• Immediately advise your supervisor of any anticipated problems which may have a detrimental effect on production output and deadlines.
• Help coach and develop current and any future staff within your department, as requested by your supervisor.
• Inform and appraise your supervisor as necessary.
• Follow the department dress code.
• Ensure that, in the discharge of responsibilities, the requirements of Health and Safety at Work are met.

Qualifications

• Must have a full clean driving license.
• Experience driving a Luton Van.
• Experience using a forklift.
• Experience within a busy warehouse environment.
