Contract Type: Full time / Temp to perm

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: £130-£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Experience: Minimum 6 months’ teaching experience in a UK secondary school

Overview

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated MFL Teacher (French & German) for a full-time position starting ASAP! This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled languages educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3 & KS4, with the potential to teach KS5.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the KS3 & KS4 French and German curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and assess MFL lessons in line with department policy
• Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
• Contribute to department improvement planning within Modern Foreign Languages
• Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required

Ideal Candidate

• Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in French and/or German within a UK secondary setting
• Is passionate about language learning and student achievement
• Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
