HGV Shunter Driver (Days or Nights) | Rugby |£32,376 – £35,157 per annum |4 on / 4 off | 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am) | Permanent Opportunity

We are recruiting HGV Shunter Drivers to join a leading logistics operation in Rugby on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering regular 4 on / 4 off shifts, with fixed days or nights (no rotation) – giving you excellent work‑life balance and predictable hours. As a Shunter Driver, you will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly, safely moving trailers and supporting the yard operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move and position trailers across the yard
• Carry out pre‑use safety and compliance checks
• Report any defects, damage, or incidents promptly
• Maintain a clean, organised yard environment
• Support site safety by monitoring driving standards and speed compliance
• Undertake general warehouse duties, including picking and loading/unloading containers

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Shunter licence
• Previous yard or shunting experience (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Willingness to complete a basic DBS check
