Job Overview
This role is a part‑time teaching assistant position starting September 2023 in a school supporting 60 pupils aged 4 to 19, including those with moderate and severe learning difficulties such as Autism.
The school has been Ofsted outstanding for 7+ years, award‑winning, nationally recognised, and offers modern facilities such as state‑of‑the‑art gym, yoga studio, sensory rooms, and outdoor learning spaces.
Full training is provided with immediate access to free, fully funded qualifications.
Applicants must be available at least 3 days a week, Monday‑Friday 8:30‑4:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities.
- Assist learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis.
Requirements
- Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults.
- Relevant SEN experience (desirable).
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- All candidates will be subject to Randstad Education’s child safety standards and UK eligibility checks.
