Job Title: Primary Teacher
The Supply Register are a managed service working alongside 5 multi academy trusts within Devon & Cornwall including Dartmoor Academy Trust
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and provide continuity of education for our students.
Position Overview
We are looking for a full time Reception teacher for North Tawton Primary. Phonics experience is essential and Read, Write Inc training is desirable also.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in accordance with the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain continuity of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication during periods of teacher absence.
- Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching in education settings is preferred but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
