Join us as a Trainee Joiner and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Council-owned properties across Lancaster, including public buildings, markets, and cemeteries. Your work will help ensure safe, well-kept spaces that support the wellbeing of our community every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learn and assist with a variety of joinery maintenance tasks under supervision, working on planned maintenance projects with the Repairs & Maintenance team.
- Manage stock, follow strict health and safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors to deliver high‑quality work.
- Complete a college course and develop a portfolio to build your skills and career.
